There are times where life is grey, but I only see red.
The theme of this peice was something ordinary to something extrordinary and exaggerated. So this was my idea. The tree was done in charcoal pencil and the apple, foreground, and background was done in oil pastel. I like it a lot.
Amazing detail in the Apple. I love the contrast in this scene, where as one might see gray another sees red...intricate. An interesting mix of mediums also.
My name is Caitlin Tyczka and I am 18 years old. I have this alter ego name, beetle. I do art for fun, and not only will I include pictures of my art, but also pictures of the process, and some funny pictures for the hell of it. I am currently a senior high school student in the St. Louis region of the United States. My future plans for my art go no further than practice and studying and seeing where this takes me. I plan on attending a university in Europe next year if all goes according to plan. I primarily made this to share my art with people, meet and learn from other artists, and start to get my name out there a bit. Enjoy!
